Timken Drives connecting links (also called master links or coupling links) join the free ends of a chain reel into a closed loop. Every connecting link must match the chain pitch and series exactly — using a mismatched link will fail under load. Click any series to jump to that connecting link. Pick your clip style with the option selector above. 1 Connecting links sold individually. Match the series of your existing chain reel exactly. 2 Cotter Pin (CP) is the preferred style for sustained or shock loading. Use Spring Clip (SC) only for chain that is opened and closed frequently.
