Timken Drives — CA557 Agricultural Attachment Chain
Engineered Chain · 1.630" Pitch · Heavy-Duty Hardened
Heavy-duty 1.630" agricultural pitch with a 0.315" pin and 0.700" plate width — 45% higher tensile than CA550. Built for big-square baler plunger drives, combine feeder houses, and forage-header drive chains where chain stretch and shock load are the primary failure modes.

- Base Chain Tensile: 16,500 lbs
- Duty: Heavy-Duty Hardened
- Attachments: U-style, C-style, and A-style brackets welded or integrated into sideplates at factory-set pitch intervals.
- Sold as: Pre-assembled sections to a specified overall length. Cannot be cut or resized by the end user.
- Typical use: OEM replacement on combines, balers, forage harvesters, grain handling, and specialty conveyors. Customer typically matches the Timken catalog number from the equipment manual.

- CA557 — Base chain series (pitch + duty level)
