The Timken LM48500LA is a Type TSL sealed tapered roller bearing: a matched LM48548 cone (inner race and roller assembly) and LM48510 cup (outer race) with a factory-installed integral seal. The seal keeps grease in and dirt, water and debris out — the go-to configuration for trailer axles, agricultural hubs and idler positions that see mud, washdown or long service intervals without relubrication. Because cone, cup and seal come matched from Timken, you get correct internal geometry and seal seating in one part number.
