The Specialty Series covers Timken spherical roller bearings that fall outside the standard 213/222/223/230/231/232/233/239/240/241 family — including extended-bore variants using slash notation (e.g. 230/500, 239/600) for bores exceeding standard-series maxima, plus off-standard series 262, 263, 238, 248, and letter-prefixed specialty numbers (SLJ, SLK, B-9, U-4, S-, J-, M-, N-, 130SCB). These are purpose-engineered for specific OEM applications — large wind-turbine main shafts, ship propulsion systems, custom continuous-casting rolls, mill stand backup rolls exceeding 500 mm bore, and niche high-load service.
