The Lufkin FM Series closed-reel fiberglass long tape is the dust- and dirt-resistant cousin of the FE open-reel. The closed plastic case keeps the blade clean on jobsites and lets the tape rewind one-handed. The double-marked options have metric on one side and standard or engineer's on the other.
- Blade: 1/2″ wide woven fiberglass with PVC coating
- Lengths: 30 m, 50 m, 60 m, 100 m (and 100′, 165′, 200′, 330′ combined-mark variants)
- Markings: Metric only (1 mm), Combined (mm + 1/8″), or Engineer's decimal feet + metric
- Case: Closed plastic with internal rewind
- Use cases: Inspection, jobsite layout, double-system surveying
