Timken® Disc Harrow Housed Units (DHU)
Complete Bolt-On Assemblies for Gang Bolts
The Timken DHU (Disc Harrow Unit) is a complete, pre-assembled housed bearing unit designed specifically for disc harrow gang bolts. These units combine a sealed bearing, a cast or stamped steel housing, and a dust-resistant seal system into one bolt-on assembly. Available in shaft sizes from 1-1/8″ to 2-3/16″.
Unlike bare disc harrow bearings that require a separate housing, DHU units arrive ready to install — remove the old unit, slide the new one onto the gang bolt, and bolt it down. The integrated housing provides proper bearing alignment and protects against the extreme shock loads and abrasive soil conditions that disc harrows operate in.
